A society for the Lebanese companies, businessmen and professionals (physicians- engineers- layers – pharmacists – university professors – executive managers) of the residents in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has been established in the Emirate of Dubai, subject to the provisions of this Articles of Association- and it is a civil social society which does not aim at realizing the profits as a result of implementing its objectives.
This society is known in the name of Lebanese Business Council in the Emirate of Dubai and the Northern Emirates, hereinafter referred to as "the Council" and its head office shall be in Dubai.
The objects of this Council are to achieve some or all of the following matters:
(A) Gathering the Lebanese companies, businessmen and professionals who are basically interested in the public interest and in enhancing the Lebanese and UAE relations in the economic, commercial and social aspects.
(B) Organizing activities that enhance the relations between the two countries and show a live picture of Lebanon and enhance its interests in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
(C) Encouraging and enhancing the dialogue and exchanging expertise and information between the members as well as providing the opportunities to strengthen the professional relations between them.
(D) Providing social aids to local or Lebanese establishments or to Lebanese individuals upon the need or on specific occasions.The council is absolutely prohibited from carry on any activity that contradicts with the applicable laws in the United Arab Emirates, in particular handling the religious and political matters.
(E) Supporting the activities of the Consulate General.
