Friday, May 28, 2010 - At the invitation of the Sri Lanka Business Council, the President of the Council has attended a gala and welcoming dinner to the new Sri Lankan Ambassador in the UAE, on Friday 28/05/2010 at Four Seasons Hotel - Deira.

Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - The Vice President of the Council, Mr. Ziad Soubra has attended the Quarterly Business Council Round Table Discussion, called for by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where they have discussed the current economic situation and proposals of the Business Councils, on Tuesday 25/05/2010 at Dubai Chamber.

Monday, May 24, 2010 - After the completion of the General Assembly on 24/05/2010, the new Board of Directors held its first meeting at Dubai Marine Hotel and elected the Administrative Committee Members as follows: Joseph Nahra - Pesident, Ziad Soubra - Vice President, Charles Jeha – Secretary General and Nabil Abul Hosn - Treasurer.

Monday, May 24, 2010 - On Monday 24/5/2010 at 8PM, the General Assembly Meeting of the Lebanese Business Council was based on the invitation addressed as per the Constitution. The meeting was chaired by the Council President Adv. Joseph Nahra who began his speech by welcoming the audience and announcing the completion of the quorum for the meeting. The General Assembly Meeting began in accordance with its agenda, where the Secretary General Mr. Charles Jeha read the Administrative Report for the period from May 2009 to May 2010, pointing out to the various activities hosted and attended by the Council. And then the Treasurer Mr. Nabil Abul Hosn read the Financial Report and has been ratified by the Discharge of the Board of Directors. As for the election of the New Board of Directors for a period of two years commencing from 01.06.2010 till 31.5.2012, the following have won: Joseph Nahra, Ziad Soubra, Charles Jeha, Nabil Abul Hosn, Adnan Kaddaha, Andre Nassif, Kamel Morkos, Michel Berdkan, Mithkal Atallah, Amin Jarouch, Niraz Al Meraabi and Khalil Matta.

Thursday, May 6, 2010 - The Council President and Board of Directors, with the participation of many Lebanese Tourist agents in the U.A.E have welcomed on Thursday 06/05/2010, the Lebanese Minister of Tourism, H.E Fadi Abboud, on the occasion of opening the Lebanese Pavilion in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), and it was an occasion to know about the projects of the Ministry of Tourism and ways to strengthen Cooperation between the Ministry and the Council for the benefit of Lebanon, where many fruitful ideas were discussed in order to develop this relationship.

Thursday, April 15, 2010 - By an invitation from the Jordanian Business Council and in cooperation with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Mithkal Atallah – Board Member has represented the Lebanese business Council by attending an Economic Seminar, addressed by H.E Jordanian Minister of Finance Dr. Mohammed Abu Hammour, on Thursday 15/04/2010 at the premises of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Tuesday, April 13, 2010 - At the invitation of the Malaysian Minister of International Trade & Industry, Mr. Ziad Soubra – Vice President of the Council, has attended the opening ceremony for the Malaysia Services Exhibition 2010, on Tuesday 13/04/2010 in Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre – Za'abeel Hall.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010 - A delegation of Board of Directors Members participated in the celebration of National Day of the State of Kuwait, on 24/02/2010.

Wednesday, February 3, 2010 - On 03/2/2010 the President of the Lebanese Business Council in Dubai and Northern Emirates Adv. Joseph Nahra and General Manager of Bank of Sharjah Mr. Varouj Narguisian visited the Lebanese Army Commander General Jean Kahwaji in his office at the Ministry of Defense - Yarze, where they have presented the last payment for the Automation of Military Medical Care to the Lebanese Army Project, and in turn the Army Commander praised the efforts of the Lebanese Business Council and Bank of Sharjah for this valuable contribution as well as he presented for them a recognition shield from the Lebanese Army.
